More About Joy

Joy Disharoon Boone is known for her southern hospitality. Whether hosting a casual get-together or a formal party, she loves entertaining her family and friends.

A Georgia native, born July 20, 1963, Joy was raised in a Christian family and is the youngest of seven children . Having graduated from Woodward Academy in 1981, she has traveled throughout Europe and the U.S. performing in chorale groups, ensembles and as a featured soloist in Church & various community events.

Joy and her husband, Richard, have been married for 20 years, live on Lake Lanier, and are active members of Blackshear Place Baptist Church in Gainesville. They have two grown sons, Rob and Clarke, and a mini Daschund named Baylee.
